The Circus

So the legend goes: Dude right here ran off and joined the circus. Seriously. Dude then got kicked out the circus a couple weeks into it. Got left around the New York area. Painted this piece, came home. Whoa.

One year, circa 1999 (maybe?), the homies went on a trip to Colorado. Those trips weren't really my thing so I always stayed behind. This year, I cruised on down to the PV tunnels and busted this out. Quick and sloppy. Solo and quiet. I don't think anyone has really seen this one.

Here is one of my first pieces. Probably number 6ish? Maybe? The only flick I ever got of this rooftop in midtown. I went back at like 8am the next morning to catch a better flick and it was gone :(

(I actually think I got the wrong building. It was dark. Risk was running us around. I was stupid. Who knows)

The Dopest

This was probably my third piece ever. It was the DOPEST. The fades, the style (ITS GOT ARROWS. That makes it cool, right?). It had it all.

This was painted on a wall underneath Main Street, across from Union Station back in 1996. Risk did a TUF piece. I can't remember the Phoe piece. TUF crew in effect, live and direct.

RIP 2Pac

In 1996, 2Pac was released from jail and dropped a double album. Me being the saavy Tshirt designer, I put the cover of All Eyez on Me on the back of my shirt. This was the coolest thing I had done in my 16 years.

Wizdo and I were rocking the PV tunnels one beautiful day. Wiz wanted to get a flick. I'm all like "Dude! No! Dont get my face!" (cause I was big news and the cops were looking for any reason :)).

So here is the in action and final shot. Good stuff!

Bash Brothers

Rooftop in my hometown. Life was awesome there. Cops were worthless. We had run of the town. Those were the days.

This rooftop was so easy to get on and had very nice visibility from the post office. Can't get better location than a view from the post office.

The Original TUF Crew Thursday

So this is a picture of the first piece painted by the TUF crew. Phoe twump, Risker, and the Doob. We all got down on the notorious river wall. This was hands down the weakest thing on that wall. We knew it. But FUCK THEM, we didn't care. We were there and we were determined to take space.

We played by our rules. Better or worse, you gotta respect that. Cause if you don't we'll take your space.

Yesterday was a very special day. It was this guy's birthday. A very special guy celebrated a very special day. His birthday is very important to me because without him, my life would be empty. So I look forward to this day every year when he was expelled from his mother's personal parts.

Old Ass Men

So... Every once in a while I get the urge and/or time to paint. Once a year if I'm lucky. When I do, I like to harp on everybody until someone paints with me. In the summer of 2009, I got to the point in my life when I had time again to paint (of course life has changed dramatically since then). This was the first piece I had painted in at least 5 years (as you can tell by the poor spacing and lack of consistency in the letters). It was good to do. It was good to have Wizdo there as well.

So here is something newer for the kids. Good stuff!!
